Don't forget to find something orange for your kids for Harmony Day on Friday. If you don't have orange clothes, orange pins, ribbons or accessories are fine.

And lots of poster ideas are being presented each day for the anti-bullying posters.

The Term 2 activities note went home this week. Permission and money needs to be back by 1st April.

And don't forget about the bulbs! A perfect opportunity to get grotty with the kids over the holidays. :)

Bulbs!

Yesterday your child was given a brochure full of pretty flowers you can order. This is a cool fund raiser for the P&C - 50% of the money you spend on bulbs goes directly to the P&C, and you get to plant an abundance of spring colour and fragrance. Eugenia has been mega-efficient and got them out early enough to get them back to you before the school holidays.

Please get your orders in by next Friday, 20th March (Harmony day - with the orange clothes!).

And I haven't been ignoring lines, there haven't been too many messages. Mostly repeats, although I did forget to mention that the mufti day raises $242. Thanks on behalf of the school. :)

Birthday Cakes

Anyone looking for birthday cakes need look no further than a lady called Maria. She has made my kids' birthday cakes for the past few years and has always done an exceptional job (she's made a Shrek cake, Homer Simpsons face with a donut in a thought bubble, racing car and a teddy bear for us). I've always just told her the 'theme' of the party and let her use her imagination. Her cakes would serve about 50 people and she charges around $50, including delivery to your door. Style Swap

One idea thrown around at today's fundraising meeting was a 'Style Swap' Night - take a look at this website for a similar idea www.swapmystyle.com.au (yes, that is me on the 'Current Affair' clip announcing to the world that I will no longer fit into my jeans - slightly embarrassing) - any thoughts on an evening like this, with fundraising money coming from a door charge? Lines messages 2/3

Harold the Giraffe is coming tomorrow, and parents are welcome to go in at 9:30am if you want to see what they are indoctrinating teaching our kids. :)

Also, Friday will be a mufti day to raise money for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. Send your kids in street gear (with a hat!) and a gold coin. They will also be accepting donations from parents, so if you, like me, have been meaning to donate but haven't had the credit card and the PC together yet, this is your chance to donate stress free.

Bikes in the park

On the off-chance anyone is reading this and listening to a whinging child, Ben will be riding his bike in Yeo Park after about 1pm today.
